bio

I was born and grew up in Mexico City. I pursued a bachelor's degree in economics at ITAM, concentrating on economic theory and political economy. In my undergraduate thesis, I investigated how the digital information revolution impacted political participation. I have worked on research projects in political economy, development economics, behavioral economics, and public policy at institutions such as ITAM, Johns Hopkins, Harvard, the Bank of Mexico, and the World Bank.

My research interests lie in understanding how economic factors, institutions, and political power interact to influence development, as well as the media’s role in social movements, political participation, misinformation, and polarization.

I'm an incoming PhD student in Politics at NYU.
